Third Haunted house in two years, maybe the most unique is the bunch. Certainly a lot of thought of into each of the sections. For the 2022 season, the best section was the stage. Lots of potential for this but for the short time you were there it definitely brought a lot of questions about the people sitting in the audience. Well done! Can't wait for 2023!

Really expected to be scared more. I have high anxiety and heard a bunch of hype for nothing. We walked through and had no one approach us. Our group was split in half. The stuff was cool looking but it was a casual walk for me. Definitely didn't think it was worthy of $60. Probably first and last time I'll go. Sadly. Maybe my expectations are to high but I don't even like scary movies and this was a walk in the park for me.

I believe they will. Their website notes if you need help with accessibility. Just make sure to let the staff know. Throughout the attraction you can let any of the actors/operators that you need assistance
It is NOT recommended for all ages and all sizes. It basically has a PG-13 movie rating. If you let your kid watch those movies this will be fine for them.
New Permanent Facility at the once Iowa Paint Factory building. "Hog" Slaughtering done on-site pre and post Halloween season. 60,000 sq ft factory building in the North Downtown Des Moines Industrial Riverbend Zone.
I am part of the build team, i have a 9 year old and am not taking them. It's a high production level haunt with very detailed displays and costumes with a more mature theme. 13+ yes, under 13 just not sure.
Parking garages are nearby. A couple of them. You will have to pay to park. But short walk through Skywalk to street level from the garages
I believe so.
There is a parking ramp right around the corner for 5 bucks
No, it's all actors or animatronics
Todd Dann is wrong I timed it this weekend, it's legit 50-60 min
Yes they can reach out and touch you to scare you and if you push them they will come back at you much harder
At least 18 an above
Yep, just during October. I highly recommend getting the express tickets if they offer them again. Last year, the general admission line was clear to the street and around the corner, and took hours to get through. We had the express tickets and got in within 30 minutes. The slaughterhouse was cool, but not "wait in line for 3+ hours" cool.
They do take cards.
Only if you pay for the VIP access
It depends on what you want. Both Slipknot and The Slaughterhouse are selling shirts separately. You can pay anywhere from $15 to $70ish on shirts and sweatshirts. There's also a cute Slipknot scarf, hats, koozies, etc. Available after you get through it.
Not the friendly kind.
Thank you for your time to inquire about our facility the minimum age requirement is 8 or at the parents discretion
They will have no trouble getting in. However, it's a PG13 rating so make sure the other parents are cool with it.
Regular admission is $20, there might still be some $2 off coupons floating around town at local businesses (I just dropped of a stack at Krunkwich last night). Line hopper passes (where you skip the line, quantities are limited) are $30 Death March tickets for tonight only are $40 (and include a party where you get to hang out with the haunt actors, and general admission)
Roughly 20 minutes
Opening day depends each year. For the 2018 year opening day is the 5th and the last day will be the 31st. WWW.HEREPIG.COM
$20 General Admission. $2 Off with a coupon or Receipt from Zombie Burger + $10 for Fast Pass Tickets available online at Tikly.co T-Shirts available on location for $15 & $20
It took me just over 20 minutes to get through the haunt, and that was with me stopping twice to let the group in front of me get a little distance.
October 6th
