Beautiful and family friendly.

The nature center does a brilliant job of both educating and entertaining without being either overly stimulating or dry and uninteresting like some nature centers are. The place is packed with educational plaques of course but also interactive and informational exhibits about the history and geology of the area. Highly recommend for kids, teenagers, adults, and seniors! Then, there's a gorgeous water feature/rock garden/pond, tons of bird feeders for extensive birdwatching, multiple trails of varying degrees of difficulty, a nature exploration playground (!!!), a bird of prey house, a few native live animals, and I'm sure I'm forgetting something. I HIGHLY recommend the nature center, Elk Point Overlook, and Stone State Park as a destination for any nature lovers!

Please have your dog on a leash and pick up after them and dispose of their wastes properly. Thanks!
No, there is not. Or wasn't in 2018.
Does the young Robin look like it’s hopping around and is mostly covered with feathers on its body? If so it’s a young that is ready to fledge and is out on it’s own. The mom hangs around somewhere to send them but they are pretty independent. It’s OK to take it out and touch it it’s a wives tale if you touch it the mom will still come back. If you don’t have any pets or other animals in your yard that would hurt it then I would take it out of the window well and let it go. Look around and see if there’s any shrubs or a nest nearby and you could put it near there but it’s most likely fledging and ready to be off on its own. If you don’t want to try to catch it perhaps you could put a board or something angled in the window well that it could climb out of
