A must-see place if you're a John Wayne fan. But make sure you have plenty of time cuz it takes about two and a half to three hours to go through the museum. Paul at the desk was very informational learned a lot. Great place to go I loved it cuz John Wayne's always been my hero.

The Quilt Museum on the square. There are also several other places that are on the Historical Registry. Depends on what you are interested in. Have a great time.
I'm not sure where you heard that tickets were very difficult to get. Simply walk into the Museum and buy your tickets right at the counter inside. You could also call us toll-free at (877) 462-1044 if you need tickets in advance for a present or something like that. The ticket price includes admission to the Museum, the Birthplace house, and a short documentary at the movie theater right in the Museum. We are open 7 days a week, 10am to 4pm (December through February) and until 5pm the rest of the year. Visit https://www.johnwaynebirthplace.museum for more information.

Earp died in 1929 and I think John was still in college then.
There should be space outside, if it's a small group. I agree with Shane - probably can't go inside unless you're willing to pay out the money.
Yes, but from Dec to Feb they are open shorter hours. Check their website for hours.
Yes, you will be able to park your rig. The museum is well worth it. ENJOY!
All parking is on the street. But if it's tractor trailer, you can find parking and just walk a little ways.
Yes it is Karen. I really enjoyed it. Plus you're super close to a few of the covered bridges of Madison County.
