I have not had issues like this at any other max I Walker but the one at 78th and pacific has awful customer service. Done going to this company now after my last experience. If you are fine with a cleaner damaging your clothing and not telling you or offering a refund or offering to pay for it to be fixed, then come here. I picked up my clothes which included a blazer on 10/1. Got home and the shoulder to it was messed up. Spoke with “Krissy” that day and said I wanted a refund and wanted them to pay for it to be fixed by my tailor. She said they could have their tailor look at it but couldn’t guarantee they’d cover the cost. I told her i dont trust them after they’ve damaged my clothes, i dont want to take it to their tailor. I ultimately asked to speak with her manager and she said her manager wasnt there on the weekend so shed talk to her about whats going on and then they’d call me back the following week. No calls from anyone after that. I called today and spoke with Krissy who tells me “I am the manager” and that she never told me she would talk with a manager and get back to me. Also disputes that I asked for a refund. She says she told me to bring in my blazer and they’d have their tailor look at it but no guarantee they’d cover the cost of their tailor. I was upset and told her so several times, and i was hung up on. So needless to say I doubt im getting a refund. She needs some advice on how to treat customers and basic customer service skills. Please someone in this company help this woman. I told her in our first call that I recall having an issue like this happen years ago at a cleaner and I had to get my tailor to fix it. I didnt go after that cleaner then because i didnt want to deal with what im dealing with right now. (I dont even remember where it was that I took it to at that time, could’ve been max i walkers). Apparently this piece of info means that if they damage it again, thats totally ok. Give me a break. If you had a piece of clothing get damaged, and you fixed it, if someone damages it after that then its not their fault? Where is the logic? I dont appreciate being lied to and didnt think id need to record a phone call over something like this to prove to her she misremembered or is lying. If you damage someone’s clothes you should tell the customer. You should offer to refund the cost for cleaning it. And you should offer to have it fixed for free or refund them for getting it fixed. Period.
