This review is for Dr. Cronin. He majored in Biomechanical Engineering as an undergraduate which is a perfect segue into a complicated orthopedic and spinal surgery career that he now executes brilliantly. He gave me back the use of my left arm which was slowly atrophying because one of the main nerves at C6 was pinched. I am 70 years old and fortunately am in excellent shape with the exception of my cervical spine which now appears to function almost like new, at least in feeling. I had many other issues with C4 through C7 besides the arm atrophy. He fused C6 and C7 and replaced the discs between C6 and C5 along with C5 and C4. I have almost the same mobility as I had before and have no pain whatsoever. My arm strength and feeling is returning rapidly. I never spent one night in the hospital and the surgery was 3 months ago. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Cronin for what he did. From the moment he saw my MRIs and after consult with a Neurologist to see what nerves were affected, he crafted a plan for my surgery that worked flawlessly. I enjoyed his demeanor and explanations about my issues and what he could do to resolve them. He is an outstanding person and surgeon and in my opinion would be a great choice for any orthopedic care one might require.

I implore anyone having issue with their spine to PLEASE do not go here! My doctor sent me and I wish I’d read the reviews before wasting over 8 weeks with multiple unanswered calls regarding surgery, (one of which the surgical. Coord. Michael hung up on me!). Numerous portal messages completely ignored, as well as multiple phone message left with a number of people too many to name..The patient advocate called making excuses but would find out why my communications were going unanswered. I haven’t heard back from her. I have worked for 35 years in medicine as a medical and surgical technician and absolutely know how important patient communication is. I have never EVER experience neglect of this scale in patient communication /patient care! Go ELSEWHERE, please!

While I'm a patient here, I have to say that the office staff is terrible!! No one ever answers the phone, when you call here. I spent all afternoon on Monday, trying to get a hold of someone, as it pertained to a test that I was waiting on. I called and called. I sat on hold, only getting more frustrated. There's NO EXCUSE, that NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONES!! NOMow, its Tuesday morning, and I've tried calling yet again, and no one answers. So now, I have to physically drive to the Back Center, just to find out about my test. There is absolutely no reason, that phone calls shouldn't be answered. The office staff is a joke!!
