Super fun to see and discover family connections. Open to people of any or no faith. It's free and they're ready and willing to assist beginners to advanced patrons. One on one help if that's what is needed to get us started. Our group had a blast.

The class I took yesterday, FamilyTree Navigation was unbelievable. I have been doing online genealogy since it first came online and I learned so much. Thanks Sister Sanford.

The people here are very helpful! Wear a mask, sign in and ask for help. You'll be amazed how much you can learn about your family history! It's fun and the time passes fast!

One of the most amazing places in the world! You must visit this center if you are in St George.

Call your ward Family History consultant to help you with the paperwork, or go to the center for help. A missionary there can work through what's required with you.
The St George FamilySearch Center will reopen when Salt Lake City FamilySearch determines it is safe to do so. Currently we are at the orange stage with no indication as to when that will change. The center is holding training classes every day via zoom. Just go to the St George wiki page to see what's being taught and to join a class. If you have specific questions regarding FamilySearch, please call the center Monday, Wednesday, or Friday between 1 and 5pm. A missionary will take your information and have another missionary call you back to assist.
Of course, it depends on the size and when you would like to come, but we can arrange to handle groups up to 50 people.
Before COVID we had a program where missionaries came to the various care centers and helped residents sign into an account and record their family history. That program has not been allowed to continue, as yet.
The center has three Kodak scanners for photos, two Epson scanners for photos and negative, and a 35mm slide scanner.
