Lovely park and multiple sites for family photos: visitor center and the gates at the scenic loop are a few to mention. Lots of foot, bicycle, and deer traffic and an incredibly peaceful and quite location with a dose of history to boot!

Great walking paths. Disk golf courses look like fun.

Love this park. It's great for playing Pokemon Go.

Love to run and workout here. They got several equipment (like pull up bars) on the route i take and i use those to incorporate some bodyweight training into my daily running. Also, there are an abundance of dears, its really crazy, but it is a beautiful park. Typically it gets busy around 5-8pm, so if you want to enjoy it more by yourself, go from like 12-5, during the weekdays, if you can. And if not, then this park is a great place to get fit and enjoy some aspects of nature.

Absolutely! See a wide variety of K-9's...
The fireworks were not cancelled at JB Blast. It started at 9:10pm and lasted till grand finally, it was a fantastic display. Never rained a drop throughout there bright lights and explosive display of dazzling colors. Lighting up the dark night for miles and miles. Bright displays of Saturn's Glory, Loving Hearts of Fire and Super Star Bursts that filled the entire sky above the spectators. Our location also had a beautiful view of the great mighty Mississippi. Can't wait to go back to tomorrow's family activities which starts at noon. Being an army Outpost around 1867, it has some of the most spectactular museum displays in the country. Our military service members who fought, died and sufferd for all Americans can have the right to celebrate to which they choose for you to have land of the free and home of the brave since 1776.
Website says Wednesday to Sunday Noon-4pm for the Powder Magazine museum. Old Ordnance room March 3rd - December 30th noon-4pm.
Yes it does!
Not sure about any fountains being open but the splash pad at Sylvan Springs park is open as well as the Pavillion at Lemay in Jefferson Barracks Park.
Go to their Facebook page... Jefferson barracks DEERS to schedule
I don't think so you would need to go to veteran affairs it's off 255 koch rd if you a veteran
Call them, not sure.
You're probably thinking of Figure 8. It's a BMX jump track off of Grants Trail. If you park at the trailhead off of Hofmeister, it's not far from there.
I have not heard any cancelations at all
July 3rd
I don't believe it would be. It's on fairly high ground. Roads in the area could be effected by flooding (Broadway near River Des Peres), but I would expect it to be accessible from the south (Telegraph Rd / Kingston Dr).
There are a couple. One has a fountain that kids play in during the very hot days.
