I've been waiting for 10 years to get housing in st. Charles, i feel like I'm being discriminated against

My family of 3 have been waiting anxiously to get housing assistance from these people for over two years , qualify via low income level and not a word except making you come in to update your application. These people won’t help you, not sure how they receive government funding but it’s a scam.

Love how open it is and the arched celling, the fireplace, hardwood floors, Hugh kitchen, just basically love everything about it.

I live there it's peaceful I've never had a problem with anyone been there 3 years
You can come into the office and fill out an application from 8am to 11am or 1pm to 3pm, Monday through Thursday or an application can be mailed to you, but you will have to turn in the application in person. The only thing you will need to bring is a current government issued photo ID.
You can call the office they cannot tell you where you are just if you are near the top I think
You can call and ask for Madlynn and she will let you know what you need to do but generally they take the information and do an investigation.... Do you have the number
You will need to let your current caseworker know that you are wanting to transfer your voucher to St. Charles and then they will send your information to the Section 8 Coordinator. Once she receives it, she will contact you to set up an appointment.
Depends what charges are. U can call the office and ask?
I don't know how that goes I just put in a application with them about a month ago.... Call them again see where you stand
Go to the leasing office
They don't always have to live in the St. Charles area to qualify for the wait list of public housing senior apartments. Every place is different though, so you may want to ask before applying. For the public housing list at the St. Charles Housing Authority, you do not have to live in St. Charles.
There are only three street for housing and then there a few on scattered sites
Its always your best bet to take initiative and keep contacting them. Like once a week.
Its income based there is a wait list. If you are employed or go to school you move up the list faster. It might be over a year or two wait but worth it. You have to keep them updated on your mailing address because you'll get notification you are near the top and have a limited time to reply or come in I believe
