I was very disappointed with the call I just made. I was trying to revoke my cat because we are no longer able to give the best care for him due to his needs. The women on the phone was very rude, stating that I am irresponsible and needed to figure it out myself. While I understand that we did sign up for this when we got him, things change over time. We are no longer able to give him the care and love he needs. He does not do well with multiple people in the house, like we have now and didn’t before. He needs someone who lives by themselves or with just someone else. He is also having medical bowel issues, and she told me to figure it out. We do not have the money for that, as we all know it is expensive. I thought they would be helpful and understanding that times and things change, but she proceeded to tell me to add litter boxes, which we already have 2. Our house isn’t big enough for that though, which I told her. And in return she said “you’ll have to figure it out, best of luck.” I was hoping the place we got him from would help us out and want the best for him, but this is clearly not the case. We will continue looking for a rescue elsewhere. I am not angry with them, and know that they still do good work for the animals that they have. I was just very disturbed with the woman that I talked to as she was quick to make judgements about me without hearing the facts. While she believes that I am in the wrong and being irresponsible, this is me being responsible in caring for my animal. I know that we cannot give hom the best home, and he can s clearly not a happy cat. He NEEDS to be placed somewhere else. Still, thank you for talking with me, but I encourage people to hear pet owners out before assuming the worst.

I am a foster mom to Rachel the little grey kitten. She has settle in very well here at home with me. She is a fiesty little girl. So fun to watch her. She is sleeping on my chest right now. I love her so much. I have changed her name to Hope!! Thank you for letting me adopt her❤️

Our experience with Sullivan Animal shelter was the best!! We got our dog from them and she is just so special an very loving!! The shelter is very clean and the girls working there are awesome and know their animals.
