My husband and I recently went on a 2-day group dive trip with Olympus and had a great time. We were very impressed by what a safe and modern shop they run. We received a thorough boat briefing day 1 and great site briefings before each dive. The boat was in excellent condition, as was all of the rental dive equipment. I’m talking really nice brands, too! We felt safe every minute of our trip thanks to the great staff and good policies. We did feel a little nickel and dimed when it came to rental equipment, but it’s understandable to expect to make money on such nice rental equipment. We would definitely dive with Olympus again!

Very unprofessional staff. Extremely rude and arrogant. Could not dive due to an inner ear infection and was told I still had to pay. Diver safety is not their concern and I would not trust them.

Do you offer cage diving? If not is there a place in North Carolina that does? Although my son and I would love to do both

Hi Carla, I was recently diving w Olympus. They were not doing caged shark diving. Most dives were fairly deep wrecks that require good scuba skills. I believe that off the NY and New England coasts there are operators doing chummed shark dives for mako and blue sharks. Also Jupiter FL has chummed shark dives and snorkelling but without cages I believe. Jupiter less expensive than NY and closer to shore w lots of types of sharks. So that would likely be easier.

We booked off shore dives for the first week in May with you. Can you tell me the range in water temperature?

What is the price for beginners scuba lessons. I want to purchase this for my wife for Xmas. She has no gear so the rental on the gear would need to be included
