I wanted to express the lack of professionalism experienced when I arrived for an interview. I got a call prior to that day regarding a position with the company. Everything was fine until I arrived and was discriminated by the two black women in charge of the store at that time. Not only did they make me fill out an application as if I hadn’t already, they questioned my experienced which was fine because I was well qualified. She then proceeds to say “We are only hiring girls at the moment,” with a laugh as if it were a joke. “Are you a girl,” she asked. Well the joke wasn’t funny, and it was embarrassing. I am a woman, yes my haircut is boyish but my body is very much a woman. My name is Jasmine and I did not take that joke lightly. It hurt my feelings and furthermore let me know all black people aren’t MY people. I am a black woman first before I am anything else. You women are sick minded and I didn’t need to say anything at that moment because time will tell. I may go up higher and handle this situation because discriminating a hard working 24 year old woman like YOU as a black woman don’t deal with discrimination is sad. Do better. Be better.

I love myself a good bargain wholesale place! As the CEO of a nonprofit I'm constantly looking for deals that I can utilize in my outreach. I was excited when I heard about Blueprint Wholesale. Especially given the fact that I noticed several items that we use in our outreach such as blankets, outerwear and tents. Wall to wall bargains especially appliances and home goods. Many items at fantastic prices. However, let's discuss pricing. My first visit was a bit rushed so I used today to come back out and spend a little bit more time and also to purchase a refrigerator since ours died this week. During my first visit I was told that all clothing items were $3 each. So today I packed my cart with over 30 items, mostly sweatshirts, lounge wear and other long sleeved shirts, for my family and unhoused clients. Unfortunately when I got to the register and I told the cashier my numbers of items she proceeded to separate them into two piles. One pile priced $5 to $10 each the other pile $3. When I noticed that my total was $170 I apologize and ask why the price discrepancy. She explained that not all cashiers follow the correct pricing guidelines. What bewildered me is the young lady that checked me out today is the exact same one that checked me out last week. I did end up purchasing 12 of the items she said were $3 and one shirt for $5. So, I guess maybe inquire as to the price before arriving at the register. Otherwise, it's a fantastic place to find hidden bargains. Pack your patience and enjoy the deals!! Oh, and as a side note I decided to purchase the refrigerator elsewhere since they do not offer a warranty of any type.

I have not seen that yet Mr. Butler; but they do carry return dry goods and sundry items from Sam's and Costco. Their focus is mainly return and open item stuff from Lowe's and Home Depot.
