That would be money. A lot of churches are placing money at the altar for a seed offering, or a sacrificial offering. I don't think this is biblical, but one thing the pastor does, which I do agree with, is he always gives it to a member of the church. This month he is giving it to young adults. He is setting up college funds for some young children. If you watch the whole service you will see him explain what he is doing, and why the congregation is putting money on the altar
