While I haven't been a security guard for very long, I must say that for the few months I have worked for Securitas has been an absolute nightmare. No one answers any calls or texts, most coworkers are flakey and don't get stand in guards when they don't show up, and above all, this companies pay is no where NEAR livable. Definitely not a recommendation on my part.

When I first started with this company as the recruiter I didn’t know why they received so many one stars from the guards that work there until I started talking to some other guards that I was actually recruiting and we’re already out on the field. I assumed most of them were lying but as I saw firsthand the disorganization from the leader ship not the staff or the district managers it’s the leader ship that is so discombobulated and dysfunctional. Don’t get me wrong the dynamic of the staff that I worked around were excellent we loved each other as a family but that’s only because we understood each other and we work closely with each other. again it is the leadership and the leadership only of that office. The manager there is so Ill-trained on delegation that it trickles down to the staff of the office making everyone perform in a frenzy. once they get rid of that leader ship the office can flourish and things will go back to a very successful state. I have enjoyed working for this company as I have met new people and gained new friendships. I will never let a company work me until I look older than my age and that place under that leadership was doing that. If that person was not set in that position, the Nashville office will be thriving because the staff pulls their weight. I hope they get some some that is capable of leading! To the staff. I know it’s harsh how I left but I still care for you all. Be blessed and take it one day at a time!!

never ever worked for this company! they refused to issue out my last paycheck and completely gave me the run around and ignored me for weeks. i ended up having to get in touch with someone over this company in order to get my check situation taken care of. i cannot express enough how this is not a job you want to get involved with. they are scammers and are doing really shady business while holding people‘s money that they worked for
