This was my first time visiting St Regis and Topsail Island NC. This is a very family friendly, and low key island. Its so low key that its nearly impossible to pick up internet service anywhere....even on wifi. Our room was nice, but the art work looked like it was scribbled together by a 6 year old. The TV had 11,000 channels, but was nearly impossible to navigate. After 2 hours of searching we had to give up on finding the PGA tour event, and just stream it through our phones. My dads only complaint was the water pressure. Beautiful oceanfront and pool front balcony view. They also had some really cool weight activated feet washers for walking back from the beach. The pool was pretty nice, but flooded with little kids everywhere. I would highly recommend the grilled cheese with tator tots (it was my best meal all week). I will say, make sure you bring chairs because the one chair rental place was completely booked before we even arrived. Theres also a cool little putting/chipping green area hidden beside building 3. The food on the island was pretty average at best, and Rick's claims to be a Pittsburgh bar, but doesn't even have fries on their 'Pittsburgher' sandwich. Oceans edge had some decent tuna steak, but otherwise Id say stick to Denoia's pizza....or even better, go catch some crabs and cook them yourself. The golf courses were pretty nice, and its cool that they have scooters you can ride around. I dont think I missed anything as theres not much else to do on this island. Hopefully this review was helpful, have fun!

Stayed with family at their condo, I don't know how renting works but everyone is always happy and in my week I haven't heard a single complaint. Beach access is great, not crowded at all from beach entrances. Pool is big with lots of seating. Parking is endless. Great family location!

We love St Regis. We were disappointed to find the hot tub and indoor are out of order. It's such a lively location, we were also disappointed to find the basketball hoop not working properly. Also, it was quite upsetting to see the young men (teenagers) destroying the golf course and components. With such a nice place, you'd think these "kids" would be more responsible then to be intentionally knocking goofball into vehicles!
