I came and stayed here in the late spring of 2018 on a Study Abroad trip following two soil ecologists. This group conducts scientific experiments, conservation and restoration projects, and wildlife observations (check out their wildlife videos on YouTube and photos and Instagram) across their land. In response to a previous review; from my understanding, hunting is publicly prohibited, but allowed with consent of the owners and management however. The natural beauty of this ranch demonstrates the influence restorative and conservative practicesβas well as limited anthropogenic disturbances (development and hunting)β have on flora and fauna populations in a geophysically diverse landscape. In my opinion, it should be acknowledged that these ecological practices and the spatial scale by which they are implemented across are made possible in the private sector, such as in this case by the collective visions and monetary support of large holdings companies.

What a beautiful place. The owners have went above and beyond to protect and enhance the natural landscape. Watching the families of wildlife, wild horses included π, will renew your love of Montana.

What they seem to want is for you to sign up to their newsletter and you will be given the opportunity to "help out" at the ranch which in turn may get you on the list to be chosen to hunt.
