I had a procedure done in the first week of August this year. I was called the day before to be told that my insurance deductible hasn't been met and how much the procedure will cost. They said they require a deposit down in order to complete the procedure. I put a $500 deposit down. Over three months later, I've never received a bill from this procedure that I was told would be over a grand out of pocket. Thankfully my insurance sends me my explanation of benefits from every visit, and that is how I found out that my insurance covered the entire procedure with zero patient responsibility, and that the claim was processed in August. I called Logan's billing department today (10/13) and they hadn't even processed a refund check. I whole heartedly believe that if I would not have received a breakdown from my insurance company Logan Health would have kept my $500. The man I spoke to on the phone explained it will take a couple weeks to process the refund, and I reassured him I'd call in a few weeks if I did not receive a check. I gave them 2 stars because the staff was incredible, the nurses and doctors took care of me. I know many of them still hold the values of KRMC, and I'm thankful for that. Keep track of your billing through this hospital, as well as all other places they run. They are comfortable keeping your money, that they owe you. There is no reason that they shouldn't have processed my refund when the insurance claim went through on the 15th of August. They were waiting me out.

Beyond the worst hospital I've ever been to. I've been here multiple instances and each time it doesn't get any better. They don't care to check for your needs & are in the stance of getting you out as quickly as they can. They rarely ever run tests, doesn't matter how sick you are. Based off their 5 minute judgement you'll be sent out with some papers and be told to come back if things "worsen". As far as billing goes, for those who are out of state and in need of a medical emergency. Don't come here, because they don't accept out of state insurance apparently. Instead of a reference for others to come here, it's a "don't go and look for some place else".

We have 2 top rated full time CardioThoracic surgeons that came from Baltimore and reside here. The nursing staff are top notch and are all certified in their branch of expertise. You will be pleasantly surprised and grateful for choosing such a wonderful Hospital to have this surgery or any surgery for that matter!!
They do this for security reasons. There's a white telephone inside the main door , if you pick it up the operator will conect you with security and they will come let you in.
