They have gone so far above and beyond for my family. It's just so wonderful to know that there are such caring people in your corner on one of the worst days of your life.

Gentle Goodbyes made the experience of losing my pet far less traumatic than what I have experienced in the past when a pet has passed away. I am so incredibly appreciative they provide the services that they do, and I really cannot say enough beautiful, wonderful things about how they treated the process of saying goodbye to my beloved cat companion. They treated her remains with dignity and blessed us with as peaceful and as loving an experience as we could have ever hoped for in such a sad time.

We had a kitty who became extremely disabled very quickly. We knew we couldn't let her live like that, not even for a day, as she was terrified and in severe pain and couldn't move much at all. I called Gentle Goodbyes, talked to the receptionist and within an hour Dr. Laura Lefkowitz called and was here within 4 hours of receiving our info. She was gentle with our kitty and so respectful of our overwhelming grief. We were with our little girl until the very end. The last thing she knew was our love, reassuring touches, whispered words and kisses. The doctor turned what could have been a horrible tragedy into something that brought us peace, knowing our baby was not scared or in pain as she left this earth. Thank you for providing an important service at a time when it was most needed.

Coming to the realization you need to put your pet down so they aren't in any more pain, is a difficult decision. Gentle Goodbyes went above and beyond for our family starting with the first phone call. Our boy Rocky definitely fought to the end, but was relaxed and the vet and her tech made the process less stressful. Thank you so much for your caring and gentle nature.

The cremation cost depends on the weight of the dog or cat. Gentle Goodbyes takes care of everything. Then they return the ashes back to you in either a beautiful wooden urn that is locally made (not a cheap looking foreign made one) or a respectfully decorated scatter tube if you plan to spread the ashes. The average cost is between $100 and $200 and includes everything. If you don't want the ashes returned it's costs a little less and they are comunally spread on a wooded property in Star.
We also paid about $400 for the at home process, a clay paw print, segregated cremation, and delivery back in a wooden box a few days later. Our pup was about 40lbs- the weight and cremation you choose will be what impacts your rate. I highly recommend Gentle Goodbyes.
Hi Ruby, The cost is determined by the weight of your pet and the type of cremation you prefer. There are three types of cremation. Private, Segregated (seperated), or communal. Please visit our website, www.gentlegoodbyes.com for a wealth of information regarding all of our services. Thank you.
Hi Tonya.. we work 7 days a week based on the availability of our doctors and technicians. Please check the frequently asked questions page on our website www. Gentlegoodbyes.com for a more complete answer. Thank you.
