Got a membership...but my membership wasn't approved by an unhelpful employee. They even threatened to call the cops if I didn't leave...a worthy attempt at best, however, jail time doesn't frighten me. P.s. two team members had also approved my membership. An evening worker, and one on afternoon shift. Really, it's only common knowledge that'll make or break a customer's experience. Planet Fitness is really an overrated gym.

Yes, there are showers. And there's always several available because most people choose to shower at home.
They regularly do have specials like no membership/sign-up fee, so be on the lookout.
$ 10 per month, plus initiation. But you can only go to that location. Oh you can grab the Black card that tells you so it's $ 20 per month plus initiation but you can use the tanning bed, massage chairs and you can go to all planet fitness locations in the United States.

No there is no squad rack besides they only have smith machines neither Olympic bars there is only dumbells

Yes. This is a common complaint against planet fitness. Nothing over 60lbs in free weights. Most machines will go over 200lbs. The Smith bench presses are a little more accommodating and are often occupied for this reason.
I pay 9.99 per month. Then there is also a yearly 49 annual membership fee. If you join during a special promotional month, the joining fee is waved. The difference between the 19.99 membership (black premium membership) and the regular 9.99 membership is as follows: Premium members pay 1.50 for drinks like Gatorade vs the regular price of 3 dollars- a big difference if you forget your sports drink like I sometimes do. Premium members may also use the message machines. Which are actually really good. Premium members can also use the tan machines.
