Wonderful campground. We have stayed at the tent sites at the back of the campgrounds next to a creek for the past few years, it is so beautiful. Tent spots about 15 feet from a nice little creek, great for fishing or taking a quick dip. Very very beautiful spot. Andy is very helpful and kind and it was a pleasure seeing him in the two years we have stayed here for our annual trip on the Root River Trail. Even though the campground is a bit off the Root River Trail, we will stay here every time we visit because it is such a beautiful spot. Highly recommend.

Love this place! Great owners, beautiful river, trails, and literally less than 5 minutes from the State Park. Pretty quiet at night, too. You can nab a spot right by the river! My only complaint is to shut off the blaring light near the bathrooms/vending machine, and give a warning that some of the water hook ups are placed past a normal hose reach. It was an easy fix, we just filled our tank and we were good for the weekend. I think they will also borrow a hose if needed.. We will 100% be back every year!

Awesome little place a couple miles from the state park. Has a nice trail the runs along the trout stream! Really friendly owners. Will be back!
