Just went to Mexico Beach to see the damage wrought by Hurricane Michael. Wow! In three years time much has been rebuilt and looks like a great recovery. Nearby forest are, and will be for decades, still devastated with only tall spindly pine trees left, those that could bend in the wind without breaking.

The gazebo, destroyed by hurricane Michael, hasn't been rebuilt yet, but the small spot of ground next to the El Governor remains. Living Waters still holds its beach services there and beach weddings have returned. All the fond memories of that small piece of heaven remain and await the return of the gazebo.

It's gone after the Hurricane. Google Street View has a view of this place after the Hurricane. The place completely flat. Not even a pole left.
