I actually started my treatment here on a whim in ~2016. My wife had been getting care for about 1 month and I accepted their offer for a free assessment. The x-rays showed I had degenerative arthritis in my neck - 2 vertebra were almost rubbing. Disappointed in my condition but happy know the truth, my wife and I decided I should start treatment right away. The goal of the treatment was to stabilize my neck to keep it from getting worse as well as to improve my posture - untwist and level it is the best way I can describe it. A few months later, the x-rays showed that my neck had improved! I am so happy about this. Also, my posture is better and I don't get soreness in my lower back like I used to. I have continued with "maintenance care" ever since and, while I recommend it (like I recommend teeth cleaning from a dentist) x-rays have found that the alignment of my vertebrae continues to improve - almost normal! Needless to say I'm very happy with UCC of Monmouth. Not only for their care but because it's just a nice place to go. The staff is kind and competent and call you by name when you walk in. The place is clean and tidy too. I highly recommend them.

I reluctantly as a last ditch effort came to Upper Cervical chiropractic about 5 years ago...I was in extreme pain that altered my life on a daily basis and made me feel hopeless....I couldn’t see how I could go on in that condition...so on the nudging of a good friend and my husband I came to listen......I met Dr Arbeitman that day and he laid it all out for me in such a kind and gentle and hopeful manner..I decided to try and take his advice..It was that very day that we became a team to get me well again.......We made a joint committment that day. and I never missed an appointment......although I have a chronic condition such as Multiple sclerosis and osteoporosis which flares up at times..I can now say the degree of my pain most days is minimal. I am able to live life and enjoy everyday things...I wasn’t able to before....I can’t thank Dr A enough. He’s always there for me...whenever I need him.....He listens ..He’s compassionate.. Just finished my first consultation and it was a very good experience. Office staff is outgoing and attentive. The doctors are extremely thorough and knowledgeable. They gained my trust and I look forward to my next visit and getting the care that I need.

Hello Pat: Thank you for your inquiry. I am sorry to hear that someone you care about is suffering with facial pain. Upper Cervical care is very gentle. Unlike traditional Chiropracitic adjustments there is no twisting turning or “popping” of the spine. Of course, every patient’s specific situation needs to be evaluated individually. We are out of network with New York's Empire BCBS plan. However, many patients are able to utilize their out of network benefits to help them get the care they need. Regardless, we offer an effective service a an equitable fee. Many patients who we consult with who have limited or no coverage find our care affordable. We are always here to help.
