“ The Heavenly Gondola will be open for sightseeing only on Memorial Day Weekend May 28-31, 2021, and then we open for daily summer operations on June 18, 2021. This summer, we plan to have sightseeing, hiking, the mountain coaster and tubing, and food and beverage options. More details will be available on our website in May.”
$55 for adults if you just want to ride the gondola. $71 if you also want to ride the sled/roller coaster ride on top of the mountain. I was there last week.
Can I go up & down on the Gondola multiple times on the same day after buying the $75 ticket?

Dek Massen | Oct 15, 2021
Yes. You can go up and down as free as you wish within the hours that it operates. Hours or 7 days a week 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. however,Hours or services may differ 😎👍。
The website is super confusing saying the resort is closed for summer but then that there are summer activities such as the gondola. We drove an hour to find out it's closed. Phone doesn't answer. Website says open. Open Saturday maybe??

As a Vail employee. If your into the outdoors and skiing and or boarding. The bonus is a free pass and alot of the times free lessons if you need them. The wage is some of the best in town for the most part and if your lucky you can get into employee housing.
Heavenly makes thier own snow so there will always be skiing over Christmas regardless of natural snow

Refat Ibrahim | Oct 15, 2021
Booking good only for date also you can walking in and get tickets in there without Booking online just get there early to found parking for your vehicle
About 15 min each way, but you should get off at the observation stop on the way up (it does not stop on the way down). The roller coaster is next to the lodge. It starts and ends at the same place. You must buy tickets in advance, and the line can be half an hour.
planning on being in the area mid to end october 2021. will you be open?

At the heavenly village where you see the gondola ride. The ticket booth is right there. For general public it opens at 10:30am. Before that it's for skiers and snowmobiling.
Can we go skiing without any prior knowledge?
Luis Valdez | Oct 15, 2021
Joseph Radloff | Oct 15, 2021
You could, but it will increase the chances of getting hurt. You could always get a lesson with an instructor.
If you do decide to go without a lesson I recommend watching YouTube videos and sticking strictly to the beginner area (bunny slopes). Get a helmet!
Where to park?
Shaun Vaught | Oct 15, 2021
Paul Noah | Oct 15, 2021
There is parking in the Heavenly Village sparking lot and across the street behind Railey's. Both have fees.
With the current Covid-19 constraints, it can be as few as one and up to the number of cohabiting members of one group. The total capacity of each car is 8.
You can't get a ticket till at least 10:30 am the day of. If there are too many skiers, they won't allow gondola riders. And it's $75. Unfortunately it's hard to plan a day around this gondola.
Where can I get tickets for the mountain coaster and gondolas I am going next week on the 17th?
Daisha Moeai | Oct 15, 2020

You can buy the gondola and coaster tickets at the ticket office at the base of the gondola ride. Additional coaster tickets can be purchased at the restaurant at the top of the gondola ride.
Hello there, They close the Gondola for a couple of weeks after Ski Season ends(around the middle of April) for maintenance. Prices vary. (1-800-Heavenly) for more info.

It's for the skiing or snowboarding.
What is the price per adult/child/teen to go on the gondolas?
zulma | Oct 15, 2020
MANI VEDANTAM | Oct 15, 2020
Separate charges for individual events and it may vary.
There is tubing. A senic view stopping point to take pictures of the lake. There are some very limited trails to walk on around the tubes and ski school area.
Lunch has an array of pizza salads, burgers, chicken tenders and various soups. Going after 12 is best. The lodge becomes crowded during lunch rush.
The Gondola is open to the public. Unfortunately there's not a much snow up there yet. But it's still takes you to great place to view our beautiful lake! Then go to the top where there are restaurants and lot of activities to enjoy!
Are the Mountain Coaster and Adventure Passes still available in October? (The website doesn't list anything beyond September for booking them, but doesn't say what date they close for the season either.)

You have to call them bc informatiin about when its available and when is not its kinda blury the last time I went Was bc saw it was working from my hotel room
Day before buy Online was the easiest. Then take same, credit card, ID, go to will call at base of mountain. Or sameday just but after standing in a long line.
It should be on their website.
We bought a week ski pass, not an individual ride.
Great view about 2/3 of the way up. There is a lift station & viewing platform.
