Painless. Got the questions to the answers I needed and was able to make an appointment. I've been struggling with trying to take care of this stuff for about a month. Now my appointment is in about a month, and I feel a lot of relief. Because if they were this helpful today, I know that I'm in good hands in the future. ~ ty

It is unbelievable that you have to mail in your driver's license and wait 3-4 weeks to get it back since they are only seeing people for new social security numbers. Unbelievable.

I wanted to write this review because I would like to sincerely thank STEVE for a tremendous job. He went above and beyond in helping me set up my Medicare Health benefits. He was patient and extremely helpful. He deserves more than 5 stars !

I think it's a done deal when you apply early. And you get less with early retirement
Bring in a price of mail with your new adress
No they will give you a paper saying you ordered a card but it doesn't have your number on it they no longer give you the paper to use until your card comes
Did you ever find out the answer? I was curious too.
If you applying for benefits, the office can schedule an appointment by phone. Takes about six weeks or you can fill out applications on line.
Call in to the office
The doors are locked. You have to have an appointment as far as I know.
Yes the doors are locked
I would suggest you go in and talk to someone. If you retire early it will hurt the amount you get. However if you lose your job you can get unemployment
My SS online apply for a replacement card and wait. Or go to the office apply for a replacement and wait.
They will need a plastic not paper state issued ID. They open at 9 , be there at 8:30 and beat the crowd
I'm pretty sure you can
Go to your nearest social security office and tell them you need a replacement they will ask for a birth certificate and an ID of some sort so make sure you have those things present.
