Hello, this is Chef Andrew on my sons account, please send help, I am being held hostage inside the dining hall kitchen, they will not let me leave, they made me cook the old chef and give it to the kids because his food was not good enough. Please come as fast as possible, I have not seen daylight in years. This picture down below is what they just gave me to cook for the kids.

No place I would rather be than here at camp, making friends, taking badges, doing the treks, eating the ice cream, and enjoying the summer with the staff!

We had a great time a summer camp! The staff were great. Program was a lot more than we expected. Facilities were high quality. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Looking forward to working toward our Legend status.

I know scouts can fish in the river, but is the public allowed to access the river for fishing too?

Former staff here, yes you can fish in the river. The river itself is public property up to the high water mark, so you can always wade/rock hop in from the National Forest land. However, they generally don't mind people passing through the camp property to access the river. It would be a good idea to check in at the office next to the parking lot when camp is in session (mid June to mid August) just to let them know what you're up to.

Do you have what is available in the trading post and prices

That's not available online, sadly. You'll have to be there in person for prices. Candy and ice cream are usually a buck or two. If you're sending a scout for Summer Camp here, I would recommend about $50 for their needs (from personal experience at this camp). Hope this helps.

What's the average price per person? And how many merit badges are available through the schedule? (Periods and classes)

I'd also add that for trail to first-class (trail to Eagle) scouts, it will be less about badges then rank advancement. Some badges, eg Cooking, dominate time and will leave you with less flexibility. Leave some slots free for drop in skills, Tribe of Hi-Sierra stuff and just hanging out.
