Lake Logan was developed in 1955 for recreational purposes. The area was administered by the ODNR Division of Wildlife until 1964, when jurisdiction was transferred to the Division of Parks and Recreation. Originally known as Hocking Lake, it was re-named Lake Logan to reflect the Indian heritage of the area and to avoid confusion with nearby Hocking Hills State Park and Forest.
Yes, they rent out 5-20 person pontoons, paddleboards (~$18hr) cayaks and canoes (like ~$25 hr) and paddle boats.
You can rent kayaks and pontoons but they must be returned to the marina by 8pm.

You can rent a boats, Canoes, in pedal boats. Camp grounds and cabins are near old mans cave.
There's a small trial across the street from the beach. It's a small path. Probably takes a whole 15 minutes to walk it. No bike trails. All of the good hiking is about 10 miles away at the caves.
