They take electronics but they have to be taken to the main facility
Don't think they take items like that. Mainly paper and plastic products.
Hello my name is Brandon Van Winkle and I'm a sorter at this recycle center. Unfortunately we do not accept those.
HI Corey you can drop off broken down boxes 24/7 at any of the drop off locations in Athens and Hocking County, but not at the sorting facility. Here is a list and a map of the drop off locations. There is a new one that is close to the sorting facility in the Chauncey gas station parking lot.
They prefer not to take them as they are difficult to process. They don't pay for anything.
There's a day that they have that you can take fridges & other appliances to get recycled. It's in a different spot. You'll have to get on the internet to see when it is.
