Checked in with Nick for 2 rooms for 3 nights. First room had white powder on telephone and funky smell like coffee and cigarettes. Room directly next door was warm, yet AC was set at 67. I had a bag of cookies sitting on the counter and woke up to a multitude of ants. We took a different room from the foul smelling one when we checked in. Saturday took different room from the hot one even though I got the Spanish Inquisition regarding how to operate the AC and they'd send maintenance up. Seriously?? I know how an air conditioning unit works. Give me a new room please. Would not recommend it at all.

Let me start by saying the staff was amazing along with the location. The rest of the hotel is a pass. This hotel is not being clean properly and I have been wheezing and coughing since leaving there. The staff was helpful and changing our room but the change was not that much better. The lobby looks great until you really start looking and notice how dirty and filled with stains. This is the same for all elevators, hallways and rooms. Unfortunately all hotels were booked over St Patrick's Day weekend and could not leave. We ended up having to go shopping for cleaning supplies to clean the floor and showers, in which we still never walked without having shoes on. We also spent money on buying new bedding including a mattress cover because we 100% did not feel comfortable sleeping on the bed without that. After wiping the walls and floor down with the hotel towels they were extremely dirty. The pillows were stained so they immediately were removed and the smell was unbearable. Thanks to some candles and disinfectant spray we were able to mask the smell eventually. I do not recommend this hotel until they do some serious remodeling and cleaning.

We were in town for 2 night to start our honeymoon. The hotel was convenient enough (right next to Tanger) and check in was easy. The lobby smelled like a swimming pool and everything was extremely dated. We were told they gym was not open as it was under construction (fine) and they were not doing housekeeping currently and to just throw linens and any trash in the hall at night. If we needed towels we would have to come as for them. Fine. No problem. We got to our room and it was super ..dated? The carpet was very dingy and stained so we kept our shoes on. The bed was comfortable enough, but the bedding kind of smelled like dog. I brought febreeze so I sprayed the room down. The weird thing was the shower. The shower had a frosted full sized window in it that faced the bedroom. You could see right through it. Had I been staying with anyone other than my husband, this could have been awkward. The bathroom sink was one of those bowl types, modern but really impractical. The mini fridge was under the sink. It was frozen over, didn't get too cool, but was fine for our waters we brought. We discovered we didn't have a microwave, so we ate out dinner leftovers cold. The bar was fine. A little expensive, but it's a hotel bar. We did like the pool table and were able to play 2 rounds before the lobby filled up with a severely intoxicated group of younger guys. We went back to our room at this point and watched TV. The a/c unit worked great. It was a little loud and would randomly screech and make a bang sound, but the air was cool so that was great. Check out was simple. They do provide small baggies of ice and the coffee is free. We were expecting a breakfast bar, but that wasn't provided. All in all, this place was fine for the 2 nights we were there, but I think we might shop around next time we are in the area.

This used to be a very nice hotel. I checked in went to the room which appears to be clean. But after sitting in there for awhile it was becoming hard to breathe. I turned the air thinking it may be just a little warm. No it's the dust. I don't know when was the last time they cleaned the carpets and/or vacuumed them. Anytime I have to pull out my inhaler it's a problem. I came outside to get some fresh air and decided it's not worth me staying here. One of the young ladies told a guest that was checking in they have limited housekeeping. This place has paint peeling off the walls literally. The smell of chlorine is horrible right when you enter the building. The staff is very sweet and friendly. This hotel needs a complete overhaul. Now I have to either go back home or to the urgent care to get a breathing treatment and I'm here for a conference. Thanks Aloft for nearly ruining my weekend. People do suffer with allergies and asthma. CLEAN UP YOUR HOTEL!!

How did you feel about the accommodations vs pricing

The best part was the bar. My headboard was ragged, the couch was damaged, my shower corners were awful. I travel a lot and was truly disappointed at the room as it was comparable to a 2 star and as far as price, you're only paying for being near the outlet.

No... But they are walking distance to several restaurants. Mellow Mushroom and others since they are near an outlet mall area.
