I like the flying J's because they usually have a Denny's. Denny's can usually handle a lot of people efficiently and quickly. On this visit the flying J's bathrooms could have been a little bit cleaner.

Not filthy. Not super-clean either. Plenty of water pressure and hot water in the showers. Big parking lot with a honeysuckle thicket off to one side that smells heavenly at twilight when the flowers let their perfume out. The BBQ stand down the way is expensive but the food is pretty good. Can get crowded with park-anywhere dopes after hours so if at all possible get a spot that's hard to block.

Friendly staff. Dirty store. Someone was literally handling the food bare hands right in front of me. Now Imagine what goes on behind the scenes

RV friendly, especially if, like us, traveling with a 40 foot gas powered motor coach and a vehicle in tow. Makes fueling so very easy and hassle free. Thank you Flying J for accommodating us !
