Most of the time when I go to a urgent care I feel rushed and most of the workers are rude. But, today I was greeted so nicely by the lady at the front desk. The doctors were nice and efficient. I am due to have my baby Thursday and have been feeling under the weather so wanted to make sure nothing serious was going on. Tested negative for everything luckily. Just wanted to take the time out of my day to thank yall for being so nice and not making me feel rushed. Highly recommend going here if you don't already have a primary doctor.

The receptionist was so kind, professional, and just amazing! The nurse was very nice also. I waited in my room for 15 minutes listening to the doctors(?) chat about random stuff. I was just ready to get home and in bed with meds. But overall, great place!

Pelican Urgent Care in East Picayune is the best I have ever visited. We moved recently, and don’t have an established PCP in the area. When I walked into the clinic, I was greeted. The girl who checked me in was friendly and efficient. I saw Michael, the NP. He was very caring, thorough, and not rushed. The sweet nurse that checked my vitals, etc, and then came in to do flu, COVID, and strep swabs was kind and not rough at all. Even though I left with a flu diagnosis, the experience was very good. I highly recommend Pelican Urgent Care. Oschner’s got it right again!

I decided to visit pelican urgent care and which tested positive for strep throat. So I was prescribed a oral antibiotic tablet at the initial visit.I decided to call the next morning to see if I could come back in to receive a steroid shot which Katy informs me that they only keep one type of shot and it’s not to cure strep. After expressing that I needed to find a different clinic that could help me with treatment, she replies Good Luck in a rude way. What is the point of this urgent care if you can not be treated on site with a injectable antibiotic?
