Was back in Southern Indiana for a wedding and needed some dinner. Stopped by Fleig's and got some chicken tenders and German fries. And oh, those German fries! Reminded me of home cooking, tender potatoes and onions fried to perfection. The chicken tenders seemed to be hand breaded and were juicy on the inside. A little too heavy on the breading for me, but most people would enjoy them that way. Next time we're back in Ferdinand, I'll order their fried chicken, supposed to be pretty good.

Pleasant surprise! Menu was limited for lunch because the dining room is closed but there is seating at tables in the bar. The breaded chicken was excellent and my aunt was very impressed with the steak burger.

Local restaurant and bar. Sandwiches we're very reasonable priced. I had the breaded tenderloin, which was very good. The menu is limited on Monday and Tuesday as there is no cook. I would go back to sample their full menu items such was the steaks.
