Worse emergency room ever ! What’s the point in calling it that if you don’t get seen. I can in with chest pains at 3 in the morning and I’m still here 6 hours later people have been seen before me and I was here before them this is ridiculous.

My 6 year old son came in an ambulance and they put him in the lobby because they didn't have rooms open and told us it would be a 5 plus hour wait. Staff was rude and we will be going to Marion MUSC from now on.

My daughter and boyfriend were in a car accident and they haven't seen them. They were transported by the ambulance and all. This is ridiculous. Looking at his injuries he needs to been seen immediately. This hospital needs to do better! The staff here are rude too. The lady at the desk was just looking at me like she didn't care. Like these children need to be seen. This doesnt make any sense.

Like most everyone says, you'll want Dr. Hamidi. He's attentive, consistent, calm, and well-versed. He made multiple visits to my mom on her visit, stayed well-informed on her condition, and made visits independent of the nurses (very unusual for anyone who knows doctors, because they usually assign it all to the nurses to do) to check on her personally. He gently but insistently reminded her that visiting a trusted primary is vital to good health and not to put off visiting the ER in emergencies. The nurses were great too, I don't know the names but they fed us pizza, cracked jokes, minded every complaint and handled problems quickly... very good care. My single complaint would be the wait time, which was about 15-20 minutes for a serious heart issue, but even then I know that's very quick for an ER and the registration staff were watching carefully and reminding the staff of our situation as we waited. So yeah, all in all 5 stars. If you need to go, go. Think it's not that serious? Let them decide that. It's better to be treated for indigestion than diagnosed with heart failure or something because you pushed it off for too long.
