Beyond terrible!! The local main streets have so many bumps on them. Uneven pothole fixed. The local streets dirty at times with rocks that cause harm to cars. Clean up the streets already!!! ESP the on and off ramps for the highways and expand the roads in congested areas already FIX BQE ALREADY!!!! The Supervisors in the office and field managing this neighborhoods are beyond terrible

As a polio affected & hip implant plus 11 years on dialysis a perfect candidate for city parking permit don't understand why the D.O.T asked evey time for renewal I m real disabled .any way send the department renewal form they send to me with certified mail on 11/16/20 ( have copies of post office recites doctor certification ) .call today office that my permit is expiring on 31 Dec 20 .I m worried still didn't receive the new. The gentleman on the other side asked last name & said he doesn't see any certified mail was received .as long time hypertension patient I am so stressed .why a government department has slow down its work when banks are open DMV is open medical centers are open other public departments are open with Corona related precautions & protocols .. very sad to say now there is no more difference left in NY & third world countries government departments who handles public ..Instead of improving services they are enjoying the benefits of epidemic ..

When contact their website .it's mentioned all those who's permits are expiring in 2020 are extended .it's not mentioned till what date these expired permits are now extended .when call them as usual some one will try his/her best to get rid of any question .it's the worst department run by government officials .I send mine month ago with certified mail .and the guy on phone says they did not receive it .mine one was with my doctor's certification and all required documents .today I to take the bus and go to workshop where my broken car is sitting on street .just to check cleaning day I don't get a ticket .no idea why this office is making disabled persons to wait for it .may be short of employees

Hanging permit is useless in NY city only is good for where disabled sign allows to park get city permit but the red ribbon department of transportation people are worst than a third world country's government officials here in Ny they will hummilate and make it difficult to get it even you are affected with polio they will try to give you hanging state permit first the same one u lost a off street permit go to their office T 30_30 Thompson and queens blvd . remember there is not a inch of parking available in that neighborhood except a expensive $15 car parking lot good luck
You can drop off the application for your father. Once that application is completed properly and has the required documentation then it will be accepted but permits are not issued the same day.
