Wonderful Krishna temple. The devotees are very kind and welcoming. A very special place. They went out of their way to make me feel welcomed, I have visited many Iskcon temples through out the US and India, but this temple in New Orleans is very special. I moved here 3 years ago from Miami. While I have great love for the Miami temple which I visited regularly for many years and I was a bramachari in 1979 for over 6 months. This temple in New Orleans is awesome. God bless. Hare Krishna

They serve meals on Sunday evenings around 7:30. The meals are free, but a donation is recommended.
First of all it is not called meal. No one is asking for donation. It is a tradition on Hindu temple that you put some money according to your ability and wish. You take some food as a Prasad, as it is being offered by God. ISCON made facility so nice that people can sit comfortably. It is not a restaurant
