Not at all what I was expecting. Not a good place for families. I would give this place a -10 if possible. The door locks did not work. Room was very dirty. Cigarette burns all over the comforter. A lot of traffic in and out of parking lot and people hanging outside rooms smoking on balconies and sidewalk. Lots of people driving in and parking, going in a room and then not much later they left and soon someone else would come to the same room go in and leave. Seemed like lots of parties.

Yea I’m giving another review.... we are enjoying our stay here at the Motel 6!!! The staff makes you feel welcomed here and we also want to give a shout out to Celena A. at the front desk she is so on top of her job and she’s super friendly!!! Thank you MOTEL 6 for letting us continue to stay here with our fur babies.

Positive: It was pretty clean, not what I expected because of the negative reviews I've read. Negative: Didn't like how check-in took longer than it needed to be. The lady said to wait a minute and it ended up being way longer. Other than that no complaints, it was decent.

FFF BEWARE NEVER AGAIN I placed reservation for a handicap accessible room 3 days prior to my stay. Upon arrival I was told that my room was not available so I asked to see the manager and was told that the previous guest extended their stay so I asked why were they allowed to do so when I already had reservations? I was basically told that no one checked. In addition to that terrible situation also note that this hotel does weekly rates have a washer and dryer and is located next to a strip club. There are dogs allowed and the place is very run down and dirty. There were many drug users and one dealer in the immediate vicinity. It is probably the worst and most run-down hotel I have ever stayed at. I was not compensated at all for this horrible stay and I will never recommend motel 6 to anyone again. You are much better off using one of the other five hotels within walking distance they are a little bit more money but you get what you pay for. Unsafe no fridge or microwave in room. Nothing was good about this stay.

Get and pay for a room as if it were overnight. When you're done with whatever you're doing in 4 hours 😉, just check out!
Key west in Merrillville has cheap rooms for weekly & monthly but the place is gross
