Nice Park. Great biking. However, the paths were detoured and the signage was not very good. Glad we had a city bike map with us. Beautiful downtown area. Great biking.

Wonderful place for a stroke. Very well lit and colorful at night. Unfortunately they close the park at 10. So you get very little time to view the lights.

My "go to" place. It's super close by to where I live. Can't wait till Spring actually arrives, so I can get more colorful pictures. But, I love trees (whether bare or full of color)

Late winter views. Love this place and 60° weather in Iowa brings people out to the park. Clean up your trash and after your dogs. The homeless housing project in the far portion along the river are a little disturbing. They seem to keep to themselves. Just be careful at night.

Definitely, theres a paved trail around the lake that lots of people run/bike on. It can get busy at peak times tho.
Going south towards the airport you'll find many options. Going northeast towards downtown you'll find many. The only difference is the park connects better to downtown via trails
It is a very good scenic area. Great place for walking and bike riding.
dogs aren't allowed on the beach. Itb just isn't enforced
The park won't open until the end of June now after the current flooding.
Yea, there is a designated area with a beach that you can swim at.
Go in the north entrance and drive straight. You should see it just past the 2nd stop sign. Drive past it and park then walk back to it.
Be a few more days possibly this weekend at current temperatures
I've noticed around 8
It's free unless you want to rent a boat or something.
Yes , you have to call parks and recreation
Soon hopefully
Cottonwood trees
Park will be open, but the park closses at. I think around 9 or 10 pm.
There is a kayak rental there but yes you can bring your own kayak to the lake
Its closed until late June for trail resurfacing.
There r different sizes but im not sure i think 4 ppl can ride
Get ahold of parks
I don't believe so. I think you can only use the equipment they provide and boats they have.
Trail is about 3km
The driving and walking trails are open
As of 7 this morning, signs still showed it as closed due to the flooding
my father works there. It was last stocked 5 years ago
