Excellent extremely affordable social-justice-oriented counseling services in English and Spanish! Was lucky to both receive them and later to intern as a psychology student on track to be a counselor. Run by wonderful women!

There's a great conference room that's available for rent for less than $100/day. It includes a projector, whiteboard, Internet and refreshments. It can fit up to 50 people at a time, with additional breakout rooms for more intimate discussions. Using the room for your event supports the sacred work provided by the YMCA.

They're on a sliding scale. Not sure if they offer free counseling, but it's worth giving them a call and doing the intake to find out! Good luck
The only way you can know how much it will cost is if you call in and speak with their intake line. They'll help get you ready for your first session. Definitely now is a great time to call! I hope you feel better soon, Vanessa
YWCA Greater Austin offers sliding fee scale services based on income that start at $10 for everyone. Victims of crime and veteran women (regardless of discharge or disability status) are eligible for FREE counseling services.

No it does not. The YWCA Greater Austin's services includes mental health counseling, lifeskill classes for at-risk teens, trainings and workshops for the community-at-large and childcare subsidies for families in crisis.
