Very disappointed. I purchased an LG refrigerator from Home Depot 4 years ago in Lake Havasu City. I have purchased all of my home improvement/appliances from this store previously. Never have I experienced such poor customer service. I returned home from vacation to find out that my four-year-old LG refrigerator had stopped working and to find a refrigerator full of spoiled food. I called home depot on Monday 10/10 spoke to Sam, he referred me to the claims department. I spoke to Joy. She called LG and advised me she had set up a service call for 10/12. I took the day off to wait for the technician to show. However no one did. At this point I still don't have a working refrigerator. I called back to Home Depot and spoke to Jeffrey. He made a call to LG directly to find out why they didn't show and what happened. LG advised him that they have no customer service rep in the Lake Havasu City area and nothing had been done at this point. Jeffrey then transferred me to the escalation department for Home Depot where I spoke with Nick. Nick advised me that I would receive a call back within 2 business days from LG. Here it is 4 days later from my original contact and I have not heard from anyone. I am the one who has to keep calling for information. I purchased this LG refrigerator 4 years ago knowing that LG was highly rated by Consumer Reports. The Home Depot sales rep convinced me to buy the 5 year extended warranty just for peace of mind or should I have any unexpected repairs in the next 5 years. Had I had known Home Depot would not stand by their products and support their customers in need of service I would have considered other options for my purchase. It is now Thursday evening and I haven't heard from anyone and still have a non working refrigerator, living out of a ice chest with a family of 5, 2 of those persons being children under the age of 2 years -Extremely unhappy customer

FYI they used to have a whole year return policy in plant returns, now is only 90 days, Lowes is still one year policy return, everything else is the same !

I tried moving all of my business to Home Depot about a year ago. I signed up for Pro and spent a fair amount of money with them. My wife has had the absolute worst experience trying to get a Samsung Bespoke refrigerator from them. She has honestly spent over a dozen hours and four trips to the store. Interesting we can get the Bespoke at a good price in Kingman, but not to the Havasu zip codes. Will now try to never shop there again. Purchased the Bespoke from Lowes yesterday. We may have paid more, but I'm tired on the Home Depot BS. You can keep my Pro bonus dollars.

Hime depot has been cracking down on all store credit and girt card transaction as have most major retailers. Too much theft/fraud ruins it for the honest
