My husband “choked” on a piece of steak! I did the hemlich maneuver 2x on him before arrival at ER. His airway was not blocked but his upper esophagus was. He refused morphine at first and I convinced him to take it to help relax muscles in stomach. I called the nurse x 3 and stated he had changed mind. She never came back to administer the medication. He spit up phlegm’s and saliva for two hours and 15 minutes unable to swallow due to blockage. After 2:15 ENT arrived. He was took upstairs for endoscopy! Thank god the steak went on down as soon as he got off the elevator . Ent still wanted to do the endoscopy! I bet they did but maybe they should have got there sooner than 2:15!!!!! Awful stay away!!!

This is the worst hospital I’ve ever been to I was in the waiting room for 3 hours with Covid and it took them that long to tell me that DO NOT GO HERE PLS don’t for your own safety

Depends the seriousness of your condition (s). They do "triage" there to. Treat the most severe as car accidents,life threatening injuries,chest pains (heart attacks and such). I suggest everyone understand,that if others. Are in much more danger and such. Please be patient,compassion for your neighbor (s).
