Day time traffic was really loud but quiet at night for sleeping , 10 bucks a night and if you are up for it some very straight up mountain 🐐 hiking or you can hike the river

Moderate hike to the falls which were very small. Hike was about 2-3 miles. If you hike to the top it's over 4 miles though. The campground is very tiny.

The campground has some nice spots, but they are on the small side. You are not very far from the road and might want to bring ear plugs or white noise since the train seems to go by about every 2 hours.

Small little site between the mountains and 135, all the sites are close enough to see ever vehicle that travels down 135. It has two trails people commonly hike, one to cascade falls and one toward cascade creek, my family and I hiked about halfway to Cascade Falls but had to turn back due to a storm. For the other quality of camp sites within a 2 hour radius of this site I'd say its comparably a 2/1 star. If you drive out this way there is another campsite about 2 miles West on the river side of 135 that is a lot nicer. Also the Clark Fork is inaccessible from Cascade Creek campground, and the bank has a ton of driftwood infested with spiders, hence dubbed Spider Land... The trails report their open to bikes and are a fairly forgiving grade so I wish I would have brought my mountain bike to check out the area. One other thing with this campground vs the one down the road is due to the orientation of the mountains with this site, you're out of the sun fairly early in the day (which was something I didn't prefer).
