Recommended at check-in to our room, we found Melini's to be very good. The food was tasty and fresh. The staff was friendly. The prices were better than fair. We will be back the next time through Grayson.

first time here. came to see the caves and was recommended to eat here by hotel attendant. she sure was right. 4 of us ate for under $35 and the food was great and had plenty to take home. everything tasted like they used real Italian ingredients. we will be back everytime we come back to the caves.

The appetizers were great, but when served our entrees it was a huge letdown. We ordered a Antipasto salad and a Chef salad, both came out lukewarm, and oddly presented. The Antipasto salad had what seemed like previously frozen stir fry vegetables soaked in vinegar piled on top that gave the salad a very off-putting flavor. The chef salad was fine besides it being slightly warm.

Not my best experience, sat at the table, ignored, others were seated and drink orders taken by other patrons, ignored for a while longer, I had to chase a server to just get a drink. Food ordering was no better. Very disappointing experience and not usual as service is usually excellent.
