Shocked at the way I was treated for wanting to donate blood yesterday. Don’t understand why I was deferred. Maybe if there was a clear and concise answer about why I couldn’t donate instead of being short and rude, it wouldn’t be upsetting. I donate with the Red Cross, as well as the hospital I work at. I’m surprised at the level of unprofessional manner of speak coming from a healthcare worker to another health care worker. Really disappointed, but it just cemented to only give blood with the Red Cross and RWJBARNABAS

4/01/2021 - They are the best. Very clean location. Very friendly staff in Howell. Best snacks in town when you get done!! Donate whenever you can. Save a life!! They are open till 9pm on Thursday. Would recommend to everyone!!

They definitely prefer an appointment (as do those that make one) but I think you can walk in. Always need more donations.
It is a donation, you are not selling your blood.
You don't get anything, it is done to help the community. You accumulate points depending on what kind of donation you do. You can use those point to get gift cards.
