If you are looking for heritage type country food look no further. The fried pork chops, squash, and banana pudding reminded me of the way my Grandmother made them over 49 years ago. The staff is very friendly, and welcoming. If I'm ever back in the Danville area I will definitely be making a stop here!

I very seldom give five stars on anything, but Mary's Diner! Home cooking! I got hamburger steak & gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans and Ice tea for around $14. About the same price as a hamburger & fries & drink. I get tired of hamburgers! But, I've been eating at Mary's for 45 years, and still not tired of them!

Most of their customers are in bed by that time. It is good food though.
