One of the nicest boats I've been on! The crew and Captain are great! Boat is very roomy, and it's clean as it can be!

Overall excellent trip! We did the night fishing trip. Perfect weather, red harvest moon, fireworks off in the distance, a view of the lit up Verrazzano bridge, and the spot lights from the 9/11 memorial were visible. Now the fishing- we had so much fun! It was a little slow in the beginning, but then we started pulling in Bluefish, one after another! The largest bluefish our party caught was around 24”.we also caught a few sea bass but they were out of season and we threw them back. The crew was excellent. They were helpful, patient and attentive. We had 3 adults and 5 kids. They helped with tangles, baiting, and taking the fish off the hook. Everyone had a great time. We would definitely do this trip again. As far as logistics, it was very easy. Parking on site is included. We arrived a little early and walked for dinner. We brought a cooler, snacks and drinks along. There is a restroom on board. I would recommend sea bands/ Dramamine or prescription sea sick patches if you tend to get sick. We did hit some chop. We would highly recommend this trip!

Ditto. Chris and Nikko are top notch, and Captain Bob won't stop till he finds fish. Don't get to fish with these guys much anymore since I bought my own boat 3 years ago, but before that they were my go to guys. The Gambler rules the water hands down!!oh and I can't forget Todd. He can fillet a fluke in two seconds!! Its awesome! These guys rock!!
You are limited to how many alcoholic beverages per person you can bring. Six is the limit on alcoholic beverages per person. No hard liquor. You can bring your own food. They have a microwave to heat up your food if needed.
I went on to the gambler a few years ago with zero experience and the crew is great. I've caught fish from a few pounds to almost 70 pounds. If you choose the Gambler you will have a great time with a great crew. You will leave ready to return for more.
Yes
You do get to keep what you caught. Last time I went out I caught a ton of fish but only brought back a couple Keepers. But you can't blame that on this boat or their fantastic crew. That's more New Jersey state guidelines to blame.
Of course they are, and there are plenty of garbage cans to dispose of your waste
All pricing is on website
Fishing rod rentals are separate, usually $5
Crew was good but captain didn't move the boat all night and not many fish caught next time I will try q different boat
Their website has a schedule you can check out. Depending on the day, they have different trips and different numbers of trips per day.
Yes check the website for whats running, sometimes they are sold out. Pay online to reserve your spots or call and leave a message for Jill.
Reservations must be made in advanced from our website gamblerfishing.net. It is one fare for all, $60 and we are limiting the boat to 30 people
I did the same. Call before a trip is going out or just email and they will contact you back
Check their Facebook page !!! It keeps you updated.
No half days in October, tuna trips in October, striper trips in November
It depends, 4 or 5 isn't too many but if you have more it might be better to call. You might get a group rate.
Best to email or contact Jill and ask about a per day basis.
Did you try calling
Fees vary on the type of fishing, the website lists tgem, and you can book online. Great crew, great boat, easy peasy
Yes jumbo sea bass trip with Capt bob always fun and bountiful
Also in the newspaper they let you know the different seasons for the best fishing! I mean you can go on the boat and fish for what you want also... but, I do believe October or the end of September it changes? ...
No be fluking if weather permits . Morning and afternoon . This is one of the best crews
They will fish even if its raining. Hands down the best crew on the water, period. And Captain Bob will do whatever it takes to find fish. He's not afraid to spend fuel like the other guys. These guys do whatever it takes to put fish in your cooler. I used to fish with these guys all the time till i got my own boat. Miss the heck outta them! I promise you you will have a good trip!
Don't know. I went over a week ago.
Yes 2pm boat leaves get there early for good spots
Theyre doing 1/2 day fluke trips , 8-1230, 2-630
