This review is for my mom. My mother and little sister have been going to see this Dr for about 5 years and have never had a complaint until yesterday. My mom made an appointment, got a text confirmation and put it in her calendar. She shows up to the appointment, that is an hour and a half a way and was then told it was for an earlier time. She sent an email of the screenshot to the Dr and receptionist showing the time and was still told she was wrong. She mentioned that she was going to look for a doctor closer and they terminated her membership. The whole thing was handled so unprofessional. My mom and little sister really needed this appointment and after proof that a mistake was made on the office end the 40 dollars that was taken out of her bank should’ve been returned. Her membership shouldn’t have been terminated either, she hasn’t found another doctor closer yet and she was only trying to show that she was not the one that made the mistake. People are human everyone makes mistakes, but acknowledge them. This should have been handled better. Added was a screenshot of the text she got when the booked the appointment with the time. So just the facts please ☺️

Dr. Weeks is amazing. Period. I found her when we first moved to NC and I was looking for a new DPC doctor in the area, and boy am I happy I did. She solved some of the more weird issues I've had without even having to look anything up. Other doctors have either been stumbled or didn't care enough to try to figure things out. She is incredibly knowledgeable and caring. Our entire family switched to her for primary care, whether they have insurance or not! It is not uncommon for all of us to say "Thank god we have Doctor Weeks" on a fairly regular basis at this point, especially after 2020!

It was an act of God that I discovered Dr. Weeks and her Blue Skies Family Medicine! Being in a seriously painful condition, the talented Blue Skies staff had me in office early morning the next day, where Dr. Weeks immediately put me at ease with her tremendously positive bedside manner, followed up by patiently listening and then knowledgeably building a 'verbal model' of the condition, how it related to my other issues, and coming up with treatment options my prior insurance based doctors never came up with! And add to that, how Dr. Weeks and Blue Skies Family Medicine does not subject you to the negative stigma of being uninsured, thereby providing an affordable life saving service during these times of massive unemployment. Yes, we do! We offer many different types of physicals for a variety of different activities. We offer physicals for children looking to play sports, go into cub scouts, or going to school. We also offer physicals for those looking to join the department of transportation, as our physical is DOT approved. Lastly, we also offer adult physicals for those simply looking to check up on their health.
The flat membership fee that we charge enables us to provide the majority of a patient’s primary care services for a fixed price. This allows patients to avoid unexpected bills from their primary care provider and helps them budget for annual healthcare expenses.
Our physician provides after-hours care by phone for urgent health concerns. You may also contact our office during regular hours by phone, email or text. If you have a true medical emergency, please call 911 and get to a hospital.
If you call or email Blue Skies Family Medicine before noon on a normal office day (Monday through Friday), we will make every effort to schedule your visit the same day! If you call after noon, we may need to schedule you on the next business day.
Simply put, no. As a Direct Primary Care practice, we do not file insurance and instead, charge a monthly membership fee that covers your 24/7 care. Because we forego insurance, our office will NEVER bill your insurance company, including Medicare and Medicaid, for our services. If you incur any procedure fees beyond what membership covers, payment is expected at the time of service.
