So the failure of NJDEP doing their jobs policing the ponds and surrounding is now a problem for everyone. They don’t want to work so their solution is to shut a state park funded by tax payers and fishing license subsidies. You do realize that you’re only hurting law abiding citizens. People breaking the law before aren’t going to be stopped by a gate they can simply drive around. New Jersey has become a police state more and more. Higher taxes followed by diminished services. Excellent work NJDEP for your wonderful contribution to an ever growing problem.

I love this place for kayaking. It's adventurous. You feel like you are not in Jersey but I went last summer 2021 to kayak and they said they closed it because too many young people were partying back there. Please let me know if you are able to get in this year. Thanks
