I was notified via text both the day before and day of arrival. Matt came out went over the costs upfront for what I was requesting so there would be no sticker shock. He was thorough in his work, covered the areas that might be affected, and cleaned up when he was done. He went over areas of concern with my daughter, I was in a meeting, and followed up with a comprehensive report. I will use Owens again, as it is nice to work with a company that is not trying to hard sell me on multiple products.

Owens was very responsive and affordable. Their technicians were on time and left absolutely no mess. Extremely knowledgeable and answered every question I had with great detail. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for chimney repairs or wood stove insert installations.

Yes! We sell and replace gas logs, but we also service them. If you are having problems with your gas log set, we can come out and diagnose the problem and recommend the best course of action.
Storm collars are installed around flue pipes to prevent water entry. They are typically used where the pipes terminate above chase covers or above flashing boots that are secured to roof systems.
If the water is not addressed and is allowed to pool and run, it can eventually lead to mold and other health related issues within the walls of your home. This is why we encourage you to call us and let us do a thorough inspection of the appliance to make sure the water is not coming from the flashing around your chimney.
Chimney caps serve many important functions for your chimney system. They stop rain and snow, as well as animals, from entering your chimney system. They also stop fallen leaves and twigs from falling into your chimney and blocking up the flue. Chimney caps also stop stray sparks or embers that fly up the chimney flue from flying out of your chimney and ignighting close by leaves or branches.
If you hear animals in your chimney you should definitely seek professional help. Do not attempt to remove the animals yourself. Cornered animals will panic and may fight back or try to escape into your home. We offer animal removal services. We will safely and humanely remove the animals, and offer reccomendations, such as installing a chimney cap, to prevent them from coming back.
