Had been coming here for years and never had an issue until mom and pop were no longer there. This is about the third time that I have purchased something that was either rank or spoiled. Now the prices are steadily going up and the quality is steadily going down. Hopefully, the new people can get it together, because this ain't it.

I went in today and witnessed the owner speaking down to black patrons and employees. I was floored by how he yelled at a young man who was working quietly but not moving fast enough for his liking. I couldn’t believe it! I work hard for my money and will not support such a business. There are plenty other places to buy meat. Let him know this is not okay to treat our young people this way. I can’t believe older men were letting him speak this way to them as well! Change your ways! That is not ok! Meat priced high as well!

My brother has frequented this establishment on several occasions and this was my first trip with him. We went specifically for t-bone steak, for our household and my mother. After checking the refrigerated coolers and not seeing what we were looking for, we turned to leave. The owner Michael, who was busy cutting meat towards the rear of the store, called out to ask us to stop. He asked what were we looking for and we told him t-bone steaks. He freshly cut 20 steaks and asked that if we don't see what we want in the future, to let him know and give him an opportunity to prepare it or get it available for the next visit.
