After being advised not to go to work by a doctor/nurse, I wasn't offered a doctor's note that same day I would've had to, and so that slipped my mind upon leaving. That same day, however, I messaged them on MyChart about it, which proved to be unhelpful, and today it took forever for a representative to finally get me one over the phone, only to tell me that I had to pick it up. So it felt like a waste of time, as I have work today and I thought I'd be able to get an email or whatnot to print off before going in. It would be very helpful to have some sort of emailing process, or anything along those lines, for people usually busy with work. Just a thought!

Several family members and myself have gone to this practice for many years and received excellent care from the doctors there. Recently, a family member went back to the practice after not feeling well and had to see the same NP who had been basically prescribing over the counter medications in which the family member had already been taking and advised the NP. After researching and speaking with more of our family members (totalling 10) that used to go to this practive for years because of the great care from the MD"s there, they too have been experienced a downgrade of medical service and misdiagnosises with the same NP's in the last couple of years and opted not to return because they couldn't afford to lose the one life they were given!!! I am not familiar with a MEDICAL LAW that allows a health provider facility to clearly decide who conditions warrants the MD or the NP epecially when a patient has expressed their personal preference and am certainly sure by confirmations with my insurance provider that this facility is submitting billing codes for a "higher dollar ring" as though patients are are seeing MD's not NP's which is also perpetuating FRAUD. Reading some of the other reviews are indicative that other patients are also being FORCED to see their NP's and being denied their rights to pick and choose who they would like to see based on their familiarity with their own body, medical success and preference-- when they are at their weakest momemnts. This platform has given the provider-office manager the right to deny what they are telling sick patients that are entrusting them with their healthcare. Their is no HIPAA violation to state that we don't discriminate our patients right to chose if they deem so and we do not FORCE FEED our patients to Nurse Pratitioners!! They are not offering FULL TRANSPARENCY which futher CONFIRMS that this is the PRACTICE RULE of IMMEDIATE CARE CENTER on REIDVILLE ROAD. Its very easy to disclaim, we will honor a patients request to see an MD if they so chose, however, you are told to reach out to the office manager. Seeing that there are no updates to any of the customer reviews, further supports that this is a WRONG AND NOTHING WILL BE DONE UNTIL MORE SPOTLIGHTS are shined on this practice's MEDICAL HYPOCRISY ! CHANGE will come when people "ring the ALARM" CONTINIOUSLY, stop going to their practice until there are no patients, more lives are losts, sue for patient rights' discrimination and medical malpractice due to misdiagnosis and inexperiences, and the list goes on. People need to voice their concerns to their insurance companies, higher authorities in SRMC, WSPA media outlets-Diane Lee, medical malpractice lawyers and so forth to stop this "hidden rule". Please do your part!!

Lesson learned, I will not be returning to this location. I typically go to the Pelham Road location, and will continue to drive over there for treatment when my PCP is not available.
