We drove down after seeing it on MN Top Restaurants list. The burgers were amazing and the staff were very hospitable. Everyone needs to try a burger here. We got the Cream Cheese Wonton stuffed burger and the Poutine stuffed burger. They are pretty messy so get those napkins ready. We would definitely recommend these and eat these again.

I love the idea of getting out of the city and exploring small town restaurants. Dan’s didn’t disappoint. At all. I’ll go a bit of a different direction with my review, and rave about their cole slaw. Why? Because it’s SO good, and when’s the last time you got excited about cole slaw? It’s a healing portion that is sweet and tangy and has great add ins and flavors. The perfect accompaniment for their fried fish. See photo. Their tartar sauce is also great and as a sauce lover, I was happy that there was a huge container on every table. (Beats asking the server for more sauce!) Otherwise, the staff are great, keeping up with huge crowds. I’m excited to go back.

The food always taste amazing with plenty of creative options on the menu. The staff do an incredible job of keeping up with busy times. My only complaint would be the food can be a bit messy, but sometimes the best food around has to be a little messy. Its worth going out of your way to get your hands on one of these burgers!
