Was such a let down we got there way before closing and kids were very excited to see a real light house and go inside. Unfortunately the lady wouldn't let us or even kids in even know they had about an hour before they closed at 4pm. Was sad for the kids. Also donations for tours heads up. Tide pools at the bottom pretty cool not bad.

Beautiful place to walk around and enjoy the views with family or friends. The tide was was low and the lighthouse was closed, but we were able to walk around the lighthouse area and on the rocks and got some good pics. My 5 yr old niece enjoyed it!

We had a great day there from going up to the lighthouse, walking in the beach, and making friends with the squirrels that live there. We didn't get to go inside but we walked around the lighthouse and got some great pictures.

The lighthouse itself was closed, but I have to give it five stars for the views. If you go at low tide, you can just walk there. On your way back, you can explore the tidal pools.

No tours. Only open for walking around. Go when it's low tide then you can go to the tide pools.
Tide must be out to visit
Yes, it is - year round. They need to be there if there light burns out prematurely. There are excellent tours during low tide by the people staying there plus two volunteers from the city. Highly recommend a visit.
